Your Inner "Rock" is showing

Early June, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of a very talented musician: Simon Carroll. Specializing in percussion, Mr. Carroll takes his Brazilian music influences and expresses them with such instruments like bongos, the tambourine, and the drums.  Here are some pictures I took of him while we both strolled around Downtown LA in search of some good graffiti and good sights!

My musical Likes

I have an eclectic taste in music.  I have many likes, plenty of dislikes, but other than that I am very open to all types of music.  I at least give everything a chance,  I am going to be putting together a weekly playlist of things that I have been listening to via spotify, ipod, pandora etc.  I'll add some links, and throw some pics in the mix, check out all the music, I highly recommend all these songs and it ranges from new to old.  If you have any suggestions for me that I should listen to, feel free to leave a comment or message me :) happy listenings!

Glare Novice

"To spit rhymes or walk the line"

Young "Glare Novice", aka the young Alex Terraciano is at a point in his life, in which he is torn between music and education.  Of course one can pursue music education, but Alex.. excuse myself, I mean Glare Novice wants to pursue his passion of being a talented lyricist.  "Education is important and I am not abandoning it...I am just taking a break" said Glare.  His goal is to make a move from New Jersey (his home) to the entertainment mecca of the world, Hollywood, California.  Sure he would like to stay in NJ with friends and family and push his image from NJ to the world (with NY an hour away he can still make an impact) but there is something about that california vibe that is alluring.  Like Kendrick and Dre said, "they come for (women, weed, and weather)... Los Angeles being the greater area of Hollywood is a great opportunity for anyone pursuing any sort of entertainment career.  Here are some pictures of a shoot we did while Glare was in LA for a month.

I moved out here to chase love, life, and my passion.  I always encourage others to follow their heart and do what they can do now... my reason is YOLO.

check out his website and listen to his music, help spread the world of your local artist.  Keep your eyes out for up coming videos and more!

Dog Sees God

Back in the day when I could really say, I was an "actor" I really was acting in some university plays; was about back in 2009.  Dog Sees God was my debut, and perhaps a gateway to some of the most amazing people and industry I have ever stepped into.  The play was an adult portrayal of the "Peanuts gang"  being in high school, and dealing with adolencse, sexuality, and drugs; your typical real high school scene.  Below are some pictures taken photographer Rich Kowalski:

Chongo travels to meet Donny

1 random weekend Tania, Chongo, myself and Steve managed to escape LA to visit Donny in San Diego.  It was a short one night/day kind of ordeal, but it was quite enjoyable and a lovely escape from reality.
